Here are the Top three tips that will help you to have a Healthy and Happy 2025.
Tip Number 1...Start Exercising:
Yes, you can start small. The biggest step is the first step! Once you overcome the initial inertia, then it becomes much easier to continue to do it.
Walking even for 10 minutes is a great start. The recommendation is to gradually increase your exercise levels to 150 minutes of brisk exercise per week. Come on, you can do it!
Tip Number 2...Reduce Carbs
Indians have over 60% of energy from Carbohydrates. What are Carbs? Basically rice, wheat, millets, bread, corn etc are all Carbs.
They provide energy in the form of Glucose to the body. But we consume far more than what is needed for an Urban sedentary lifestyle. What happens to the excess? All of that gets converted to fat and gets stored in various parts of the body!
So, our 2nd top tip for you this year: Reduce Carbs to 30% of your energy-food intake.
You may be asking, then what do I eat? Great question!
Proteins, Vegetables, Fruits, and other high fiber diets are healthier and will help to satisfy those hunger pangs.
Tip Number 3...Practice the attitude of gratitude.
